Foodbank Privacy Statement

Hamilton Combined Christian Foodbank Trust (HCCFB) collects personal information from you, including information about your:

• name

• contact information

• interactions with the HCCFB participating agencies

• entitlement to WINZ support – we view the decline letter but do not keep a copy.
   

We collect your personal information to enable our agencies to provide food parcels and wrap-around support for you.  We share this information with our HCCFB participating agencies as listed on our website at www.hamiltonfoodbank.org.nz

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter your name and either your address or phone number however, we may be unable to process your food parcel application.

We keep your information safe by storing it in a limited access and password protected database. We keep your information for one year after which we destroy it by removing that food parcel application from our database.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information or to have it corrected, please contact us at manager@hccfb.org.nz, or 078562520.
