Venue Hire
Terms and Conditions
When you book and pay for venue hire, you agree in full to the following terms and conditions.
General Use

The venue must only be used for the approved purpose specified in the booking form.

The hirer must co-operate with other occupiers and users of the facility and take all reasonable steps to avoid inconvenience to others.

No alcohol, vapes or cigarettes are to be used on the premises.

Please do not bring nuts or nut products onto the premises.
Booking and Payment

Bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee and bond have been received.

If the hirer cancels the booking less than 24 hours prior to the event, no refund will be issued.
Access and Keys

A key and access code will be issued prior to the event.

All keys must be returned after the event. If keys are lost or not returned, the hirer will be charged for replacement keys and/or locks.
Cleaning and Departure

The venue must be vacated by the end of the booked time. Additional hours may be charged if the facility is not vacated on time.

The space must be left clean and tidy, with all rubbish removed and disposed of off-site.

The bond will be refunded once the key has been returned and the venue has been inspected.

A cleaning fee may be deducted from the bond if the venue is left untidy.
Damage and Safety

The hirer is responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to the facility.

Any intentional or accidental activation of fire or security alarms, including any call-out costs, will be charged to the hirer.
Changes and Cancellations

Pukete Neighbourhood House reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.

Pukete Neighbourhood House also reserves the right to cancel a booking if necessary. In this situation, every effort will be made to accommodate the booking at another time, or a full refund will be issued if payment has already been made.
