Servicing both Pukete and Te Rapa School, The Pukete Neighbourhood House has a long history of providing quality Before and After School care programmes. Our location within Ashurst Park allows us to run a large and engaging programme for school aged children. With our HUGE indoor facility we can ensure that our children engage in active play no matter the season, so that excess energy is burnt off well before home time. Our child led programme ensures we offer a range of learning experiences for children, and they are free to engage with those activities which match their growing interests.

Save yourself some time in the morning, as we offer breakfast (included in our price) to start the day off right! Generally consisting of toast with a selection of spreads, and kiwi favourites such as Weet-Bix, Rice Bubbles & Cornflakes. We also provide a nice warm Milo for those cooler days, or a cold cup of milk for healthy bones. From time-to-time we include "special" menu items such as porridge, eggs, crumpets, hash browns, pancakes and more...

As a point of difference, our on-site cook provides both a nutritious and substantial afternoon tea daily! Food is important to us, and is a way for all to come together and share a meal and discuss the days events. We operate on the basis that a "full tummy, is a happy tummy".
