About the Event
These are a series of 6 free workshops in which you will create your own altered book using techniques your tutor will teach. You will need to a bring a book to alter (preferably an old one in which the binding has been stitched) to the first session.
We will be using a wide variety of mixed media materials (glues, finishes, paints, paper, fabric, fibres, etc), perhaps our own small treasures/found objects, and of course our creativity/life experience to transform a book into something very unique and personal. Most materials will be supplied but you will be encouraged to bring some supplies if possible/desired.
These workshops are for adults 18 years or over. Pre-registering is essential because spaces are limited and there is no “drop in”. Please text Liz on 027 677 8651 to register.
